Casino Rules Canada

Affiliate disclosure

Casino Rules Canada is funded by affiliate commissions: we may earn a commission when a reader reaches a casino through a partner link and then registers or plays.

Our guides to provincial rules, registers, complaints and self-exclusion do not carry partner links, and they do not name the casinos that pay commission. That is deliberate: a page explaining which sites a province authorizes should not sit next to a button for a site it does not.

If a page ever carries a partner link, it will appear as a button pointing to an address on our own site, which forwards to the casino through its tracking link and is marked as sponsored, with a disclosure next to it. The casino would receive our site’s domain as the origin of the visit; our privacy notice describes what is recorded.

The rule we follow

We link only to casinos covered by our affiliate agreements. This affects which casinos have links, not what we report about their licence or status. It applies to every page on this site, today and if partner links are ever added.

What commission does not change

It does not change what we report about any law, regulator, register or operator, which sources we use, or what we mark as not confirmed. Operators named in our guides, such as those on Ontario’s and Alberta’s official lists, appear because the official sources list them, not because of any commercial relationship. Our editorial policy sets out the rules we write by.
